Smarter Contracts selected for Saudi Arabia trade delegation

Press release / 2 Sept 2024

London UK - 3 September 2024 - Smarter Contracts, the award winning UK software company responsible for developing the patent-pending Pulse Permissions Protocol®, has been selected to join a prestigious trade delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This initiative is strategically aligned with Saudi Arabia’s flagship fintech event, 24 Fintech, which will take place from 3-5 September. The delegation has been organised by the Department for Business and Trade, in collaboration with HM Treasury and the Saudi British Joint Business Council.

As part of the delegation, Smarter Contracts will be given the opportunity to present its cutting-edge solutions to key stakeholders, including members of the Saudi government, the Saudi Central Bank, regional banks, the Saudi fintech community, and regional investors. As such, Smarter Contracts will be able to bring to life how their software can be used to support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 targets, which includes becoming global fintech hub.

Wayne Lloyd, Founder and CEO of Smarter Contracts commented, “We are honoured to be selected for this trade delegation and look forward to engaging with key members of Saudi Arabia’s financial services ecosystem. As the Kingdom advances towards its Vision 2030 targets, the need for new-age infrastructure that enables secure, compliant, and frictionless data sharing becomes paramount. FinTech's, in particular, will require continuous access to high-quality data to provide customers with tailored products and services that fuel growth and unlock positive outcomes for all.

"We’re excited to demonstrate how adopting a new standard for consent and permissions through our Pulse Permissions Protocol® can transform the value and utility of data across the financial services sector and beyond, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in unique and impactful ways.”
